Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Schools has initiated a pilot program to test SilTanium Supreme-V. The tests, in Piney Grove Elementary School’s main entrance and adjacent hall, will continue during several months of evaluation to prove the product’s high aesthetics and low maintenance features.
The trial began with removal of the existing floor finish. It took less than two hours to apply four coats of SilTanium Supreme over more than 2,500 square feet. Our procedure permits reopening of floors in approximately the time normally needed to apply two coats of floor finish.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg administration expressed approval of the time factor, as well as the finish and resulting brightness of the floor.
