Auburn University’s Shelby Center underwent a major makeover with SilTanium contracted to clean tile-and-grout hallways and coat several high-traffic restrooms with ColorBond Supreme, SilTanium’s grout-coating system that dries fast and is easy to maintain.
Third-floor halls, second floor lobby and the massive first-floor rotunda and grand stairwell were treated to diamond polishing and SentryGuard protected. DFE (Diamond Floor Enhancement) improves both the appearance and the performance of terrazzo. The process greatly improves the coefficient of friction to minimize slip-fall accidents and ultimately saves the university money.
